The end of October sees the completion of the first phase of the Liffey Valley shopping centre expansion. this phase adds a number of new retail units as well as an extension to, and refurbishment of the Vue Cinema.
The final phase is due for completion in late 2016. once complete the entire project will add 6 new restaurants, a new Penneys store and the afore mentioned cinema expansion. once completed this expansion will create about 450 full time and part time jobs

The start of August sees the end of a major part of our working lives for the past 9 months.

Wyckham Place Block 3 sees the addition of 213 luxury apartments to the Dundrum area of Dublin. Block 3 is the final phase in the Wyckham place development. Since October last, Edwards Engineering has had a constant presence on site. Our site fitters worked hard to fit structural support steel, security cages, gates, railings and various other steel products manufactured in our Carlow facility for the entire duration of the project doing our part to ensure that the project was completed on schedule.

We worked close with the main contractor JJ Rhatigan & Company and our suppliers to deliver top quality products in an efficient and timely manner. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who worked with us on this project for all their help over these past 9 months.

Ireland has the greatest wind energy resource it the world, however to harness this energy requires building in harsh environments. We are proud to work with Cregmore Construction on the construction of a large wind farm in Knockranny Co. Galway. Our CE marked and ESB approved wind farm doors which are fitted to the windfarms’ service buildings and will provide the buildings with protection from the elements and a high level of security for many years to come.

We are proud to officially launch our new site this week. Designed with mobile browsing in mind the fresh looking site can easily be viewed from any mobile phone or tablet. We have also included a new latest news section which will keep you abreast of the latest developments at Edwards Engineering. We have re-designed the gallery to make it easier for you to navigate and updated our contact page to make it easier for you to get in contact with us.
