About Us

Edwards engineering is a close knit team of fitters, fabricators, welders, quantity surveyors and engineers working together to provide a high quality service to its clients. The loyalty shown by the workforce at Edwards engineering is a testament to the importance Edwards engineering puts on its workers.

Like many indigenous companies Edwards engineering began as a family business in 1997. From working on his own, the managing director Pat Edwards has lead the company to where it is today – with a workforce of 16 and a customer base across the entire country. The production system is designed to optimise quality and output. This allows large jobs to be processed quickly and efficiently like a production line, but also allows production to change from one product to another quickly with practically no down time. This ability to quickly change focus from one product to another and back again allows Edwards engineering to accommodate the smaller jobs without adversely affecting the production rate of larger jobs. This coupled with Edwards excellent relationship with its suppliers means that emergency works can be carried out quickly with a short turn around.

Edwards engineering has built a long standing relationship with some of the country’s largest construction firms and has a reputation for getting the job done and for going the extra mile to fulfil its client’s requests. Edwards engineering also has an excellent working relationship with its suppliers and works with suppliers to ensure that client’s projects are delivered on time and in budget.
